Have you noticed that you have your own specific WAY of doing things? There are ways that you consciously created, and there are ways that operate from the sub-conscious. These are meta-programs. I have them. You have them. We all have them.

Understanding your metaprograms can be enlightening. I discovered that one of my metaprograms was irritating people and driving them away. Since I have always thought of myself as a helpful and open person, I was amazed to uncover this secret irritant. Changing my approach has opened up my world to far more powerful choices.

DISC is a metaprogram not typically taught in NLP. It pre-dates NLP and is used in business as a communication and hiring tool. It is used in relationships to open up communication. I use it in coaching to move into deeper understanding with my clients more quickly.

On Wednesday night, I will teach the basics of DISC and each participant will have the opportunity to complete a mini-DISC.
