Hypnosis Small Group: Dave Dobson - The Beach Trip presented by Jamie Nichols

Dave Dobson was a psychologist and hypnotist whose Other Than Conscious Communication approached hypnosis through an indirect, client-generated style, similar to Ericksonian hypnosis. He was modeled by NLP founders Richard Bandler and John Grinder and taught the hypnosis portions of some of their early joint NLP trainings. Aside from his effective and extensive skill as a hypnotist and therapist, Dobson is remembered for his playful sense of humor and approach to the human experience, as witnessed by the annual funshops in which he continued to share his skills and teach others.

To celebrate Dobson's life and commemorate his recent passing on February 22, 2008, the Hypnosis Small Group will present an evening experiencing Dobson's "Beach Trip." The Beach Trip is one of Dobson's "Tuxedo Trances" (as he called formal trance inductions) and provides the participant with a relaxing retreat, as well as generative insight for desired outcomes. Join us as we first experience the Beach Trip, then examine the language used to generate this getaway.
