We respond automatically to our "hot buttons" or triggers for actions that we may regret later. Create your own triggers to get you going, or stop something that is unproductive.

This mini-seminar is at 4600 Post Oak Place, Suite 130, Houston, TX 77027. Security closes the door at 6 p.m. and there will be someone by the door to let you in.

Incongruency--The Stuff that Double Messages are Made Of

Come play with Edit and discover Incongruency. Socalled "double messages" do show up, leaving us if not confused, wondering what the message is really about. Ignoring them can create problems later. Neither message is more true than the other (ah! there is the rub!) they are just different. The skillful communicator knows how to acknowledge both and have the speaker notice his/her own unconscious incoungruence.

Bounds of Reason--The brain 's ilogical logical mind

One of oour NLP Practitioner and Coaching Certification trainee's came to a very wise insight: "My filters (my own perceptions of reality) don't like this candidate." She is VP of a growing company and one of her duties is interviewing for management positions that have to be filled. Now she knows to ask herself questions to remove the "my filters
don't like this candidate" and add clarifying questions from the candidate, to be sure that she is not overlooking someone who would be excellelnt for the position.
